Welfare

    Yay Welfare! (Sarcasm) Welfare in New York is a joke. People today have $300 dollars of food stamps and they use it for soda and pre-made subs. When they run out halfway through the month they just say they have an emergency and get more money. If you can spend $50 or more a day on lottery you sure as hell don't need food stamps you lazy dirty communist hippies. They use the cash side that's supposed to be for clothes and medicine and such for cigarettes and beer.
    They don't work and don't contribute to society. They sit around and do nothing and when the five years that there supposed to be on food stamps for runs out they just get extensions. There's people out there who have been on welfare fore 10 or 11 years, never have jobs and blow the food stamps on useless needless things.
      There trying to right it by giving a test try to a system that wouldn't allow for candy and soda to be bought on them which is a start.
    What should be done is this, give someone one year on welfare. Even some people have rough spots but they get back up on the horse eventually. Regular welfare, where there bills and rent are helped to be paid, help them acquire new skills for a job and help them find a job. Every penny they spend has to be accounted for and there income and expenses shall be scrutinized.
    After that year if they can't stand on there own they will be moved into government owned and run housing. Dorm style rooms for single people, couples will get a single room and family's would have an actual apartment or a duplex. They get no actual money, rent, utilities and even food are given to them.
     They have a welfare style card that allows them to shop at government run stores set up expressly for these people, which allow them to buy medicine, clothes and job related goods. They work for the government to pay there way, either in offices or in the stores or on the apartments they live in, etc. They are trained for jobs well they do this whether it be a skill they use in there government job or a different one.
    There medical is all provided for, no elective surgeries what so ever obviously, and schooling will be taken care of for children.
    They get four additional years at these government run apartments and then if they cannot still stand on there own we oust them. They either can become homeless or even better euthanized for the good of the country, there children becoming wards of the state. If they can't contribute to society then society shouldn't want them and shouldn't help them.
    It may be harsh but it should be done to save the economy and to save hardworking Americans.
